Monthly Business Review - July 2026

A Brief Introduction

July was very similar to June, in that player activity was lower because summer temperatures made being outside way more favourable than sitting inside and sweating while making virtual deliveries.  As a result, the start of the month saw virtually no activity, which is to be expected. After the first 2 weeks, daily mileage slowly returned to normal levels, and with a strong effort by the team towards job profitability, the financial situation has recovered strongly, and the company is out of debt.

The Statistics

Like every month, a statistical breakdown will be given, along with some explainer jargon to highlight areas where we are performing well, and areas which could use improvement for optimal performance.

The Mileage:
A total of 50,573 miles was logged on Trucky this month, with 50,551 miles logged on ETS2, and 22 miles logged on ATS. 13,017 miles of ETS2 mileage was logged as 'Race' with 37,534 miles being logged as 'Real'. All ATS mileage was logged as 'Real'

From a quiet month, this overall mileage is very good, with a lot of it being contributed to the increase in longer jobs, which will be highlighted later on. A big help was the insane 10,679 mile job completed by YoinkerSploinker, earning her 1st place in the Longest Delivery Leaderboard. That job was 1/5th of this month's mileage, which massively boosted the numbers and got us over the 50,000 mile mark. Unfortunately, a lot of the longer jobs are being logged as Race, which is understandable, as the longer the job, the higher chance for overspeeding risks and the drain of just wanting the job completed, which is why this months Race miles is astronomical.

This mileage number is down 18,958 miles (-27%) from last months mileage of 69,531 miles, which is to be expected given the inactivity.

The Deliveries:
A total of 63 jobs were logged on Trucky this month, with 62 jobs logged on ETS2 and 1 job logged on ATS. This gives an average of 803 miles per job, which is insane. This clearly shows the shift towards long haul deliveries, as there were 19 deliveries logged which were longer than the 803 miles average, with the longest delivery being YoinkerSploinker's 10,679 mile job. Looking at the breakdown, a lot of deliveries this week involved tankers: with oil, diesel, petroleum, ethane, propane, and other chemicals and flammable liquids being top of the delivery sheet - very interesting!

This delivery number is down 135 jobs (-63%) from last month's total delivery count of 198. However, average delivery mileage is up 452 miles (+129%) from last month's average of 351 miles. This clearly shows the trend towards long-haul deliveries, which I would assume is driven by competitiveness to get ahead on the Monthly Leaderboard, which is a strong motivation tool.

Impressive statistics from a trend point of view, seems to show a clear shift in delivery length preference!


The Weight:
A total of 1,172 tonnes was logged on Trucky this month, which gives an average weight per job of 18.6 tonnes, which is very strong. The total weight is down 1,980 tonnes (-63%) from last month's total weight of 3,152 tonnes, but weight per job is up by 2.7 tonnes (+17%) from last month's weight per job of 15.9 tonnes. This shows that while overall weight has decreased substantially due to the decrease in delivery count, the overall weight being hauled per delivery is increasing again, and has given us the highest weight per job recorded so far, which is very good! More weight = more money!

The Damage:
This is always the fun one, as I basically just expose myself every month as the most reckless and careless driver, which isn't ideal!
Anyway, a total of 1,110% damage was taken, which gives an average damage per mile of 0.021%. The damage number is 476% lower (-30%) than last month, and the per-mile damage is also down ever so slightly from 0.023% (-8.7%), an improvement is an improvement, even if it's gradual!

The Money:
Time for the fun part, with the most numbers, let's talk Trucky Coins (T¢).
The company returned a gross profit of 2,543,395 T¢, with taxes @ 15% coming to 385,395 T¢, vehicle rental costs came to 371,248 T¢, fuel expenses came to 51,282 T¢, and vehicle damage came to 413,970 T¢, leaving a total job revenue of 1,321,500 T¢

On top of that, salary deductions totalled 776,000 T¢, and there were no other expenses this month, which means AJV Transport made a net profit of 545,500 T¢ across July. Once again, this number is technically false, as I voided payroll for the 6th and 13th due to inactivity, so if those two weeks' pay were included @ 499,000 T¢ each, then the real number would be a loss of -452,500 T¢! Payroll was amended this month to be fairer to an average month's work, as the previous figure was based off May's activity, which we haven't gotten close to since, so payroll is down to a more reasonable 277,000 T¢ per week.

Overall, these numbers are looking strong, and the companies balance sheet is back in the green, so let's aim to keep it that way!

Summary

A very quiet start to the month, with almost all player activity taking place after the 14th, a strong month after that point, with a lot of long-distance deliveries being completed, the most notable one being a staggering 10,679 miles and taking 1st place on the Longest Distance Leaderboard. A stark change in a lot of statistics as a result of the preference for longer jobs, and the companies balance sheet is back in the green thanks to a strong push from the team to aim for profitability.
