Monthly Business Review - June 2026

A Brief Introduction

June was overall a very strong month for AJV Transport, with a strong push at the start of the month to break records, followed by a downturn in players as the month progressed. A lot of this can be contributed to the heatwave, with saw a peak of 37°C on some days, making playability very challenging. Summer weather should be enjoyed, as it doesn't come around often, so there was a general understanding that the end of the month would see far less players online.

The Statistics

This month, I will be giving the normal statisticsal breakdown, along with highlighting the busiest day and the overall downward trend in statistics towards the end of the month, in order to give a well-rounded examination of June's statistics.

The Mileage:
A total of 69,531 miles was logged on Trucky this month, with 69,290 miles logged on ETS2, and 241 miles logged on ATS. 1,775 miles of ETS2 mileage was logged as 'Race' with 67,515 miles being logged as 'Real'. All ATS mileage was logged as 'Real'

This is a very strong number that the whole team should be very proud of. Nearly 70,000 miles in a month is very dedicated for our small team. The busiest day of the month was the 1st, unsurprisingly, which ended the day with 8,068 miles being logged. An incredible number which shows clear hustle and dedication. For the first 2 weeks of the month, daily mileage averaged around 3,000 miles, with select days peaking above 6,000 miles. There was 1 day of total inactivity, which was the 19th. After this point, daily average mileage lingered around 700-800 miles, peaking at 2,238 miles on the 24th.

This mileage number is down 49,321 miles (-41%) from last months mileage of 118,611 miles, which is to be expected due to the drop off later in the month.

The Deliveries:
A total of 198 jobs were logged on Trucky this month, with 194 jobs logged on ETS2 and 4 jobs logged on ATS. This gives an average of 351 miles per job, which is a very strong number. This delivery number is down 110 jobs (-35%) from last month's total delivery count of 308, and average delivery mileage is down 34 miles (-8%) from last month's average of 385 miles. This clearly shows that while total deliveries have fallen substantially, the average mileage drivers cover has remained the same, which is still positive.

The Weight:
A total of 3,152 tonnes was logged on Trucky this month, which gives an average weight per job of 15.9 tonnes, which is very respectable. The total weight is down 2,572 tonnes (-45%) from last month's total weight of 5,724 tonnes, and weight per job is down by 2.1 tonnes (-11%) from last month's weight per job of 18 tonnes. This is to be expected and lines up with the overall downward trend in playtime, as these numbers correlate well with what is seen in the mileage figures.

The Damage:
This one will be a little harder to compare to last month, as Trucky only recorded damage statistics for the last half of May, due to switching from Trucksbook, so comparison statistics might be a little off. I will still make the comparisons, but just bear that in mind.
Anyway, a total of 1,586% damage was taken, which gives an average damage per mile of 0.023%. The damage number is only 276% higher (+17%) than last month, but the per-mile damage is over double last month's per-mile damage of 0.011% (+109%), yikes!

The Money:
Time for the fun part, with the most numbers, let's talk Trucky Coins (T¢).
The company returned a gross profit of 3,285,479 T¢, with taxes @ 15% coming to 511,106 T¢, vehicle rental costs came to 530,868 T¢, fuel expenses came to 85,534 T¢, and vehicle damage came to 651,970 T¢, leaving a total job revenue of 1,506,001 T¢

On top of that, salary deductions totalled 1,453,000 T¢, and fleet truck purchases totalled 250,000 T¢, which means AJV Transport made a net loss of -196,999 T¢ across June. Also, this number is technically false, as I voided payroll for the 22nd and 29th due to inactivity, so if those two weeks' pay were included @ 499,000 T¢ each, then the real number would be a loss of -1,194,999 T¢! That's as good as bankruptcy!

Payroll figures are still yet to be finalised, they were drafted up based on the peak activity of record-breaking weeks towards to end of May and the start of June, so I feel there is a few changes required to make payroll a more sustainable expense, and to allow drivers to be paid even in quieter weeks. This is something I will be looking at going forward.

Overall, the current economic outlook is sustainable if busy, but unsustainable if quiet, so therefore amendments will have to be made to ensure the company does not go bankrupt.

Summary

A busy start to the month, with May's record weeks fresh on people's minds, and a will to break records followed through. Mid-month, the weather turned very warm, which led to fewer players online, and numbers dropped as a result. Still a strong month for mileage and deliveries. However, some work will need to be done in order to maintain profitability throughout quieter times. Overall, a strong month with a record-breaking first week. Let's aim higher for July!
