Monthly Business Review - May 2026
Published 1st June 2026 by ImmAdam
A Brief Introduction
May has seen unprecedented growth for AJV Transport, which wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and determination of the AJV Transport Team. Records have been broken week on week for the entire month, with unprecedented mileage statistics and total earnings. This is all in between the changeover from TrucksBook to Trucky, which resulted in our staff having to learn an entirely new system, while still maintaining their dedication and motivation to drive.
The Statistics
While the weekly spotlight highlights some company statistics, I want to use the monthly business reviewss to really dig into the numbers, showcasing what went well and what can be improved.
The Mileage:
A total of 64,890 miles was logged on TrucksBook, and a further 53,771 miles on Trucky, resulting in a monthly total mileage of 118,611 miles. Just for context on how insane that is, the previous highest monthly mileage was 36,909 miles in March 2026. That is a 221% increase over our previous record month.
By team members, the total mileage leaderboard is:
YoinkerSploinker - 47,044 miles 👑
jmulholland14 - 32,569 miles 🥈
ImmAdam - 27,309 miles 🥉
Dazza74 - 5,591 miles
annabellehopex - 4,569 miles
ImmJoe - 802 miles
ameliewamelie - 776 miles
This makes YoinkerSploinker the Driver of the Month for May by a landslide! Thank you for all your hard work, your dedication does not go unnoticed!
The Deliveries:
A total of 308 jobs were logged across Trucksbook & Trucky, which gives an average of 385 miles per job, which is higher than I expected, considering jmulholland14 uses the 'GDC Realistic Economy - Hardcore' mod, which should bring the average down due to the long career progression.
By team member, the total delivery leaderboard is:
YoinkerSploinker & jmulholland14 - 108 deliveries each 👑
ImmAdam - 60 deliveries 🥈
Dazza74 - 15 deliveries 🥉
annabellehopex - 12 deliveries
ameliewamelie - 3 deliveries
ImmJoe - 2 deliveries
Impressive work guys, we're slowly but surely bleeding Europe dry of cargo.
The Weight:
A total of 5,724 tonnes was logged across Trucksbook & Trucky, which gives an average weight per job of 18 tonnes. Not bad going!
By team member, the total weight leaderboard is:
YoinkerSploinker - 2,100 tonnes 👑
jmulholland14 - 1,956 tonnes 🥈
ImmAdam - 1,080 tonnes 🥉
Dazza74 - 304 tonnes
annabellehopex - 183 tonnes
ameliewamelie - 53 tonnes
ImmJoe - 36 tonnes
There's a couple 'your mum' jokes that could be made there, but I'm not gonna make them!
The Damage:
The next few statistics are going to be Trucky only, as a result of Trucksbook's weird and wonderful ways in which it works, which means they won't cover the full month. But don't worry - next month will feature the full month's statistics!
Anyway, a total of 1,310% damage was taken, which gives an average damage per mile of 0.011%. I personally think this number isn't bad, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to the way we drive as a VTC.
By team member, the total damage % leaderboard is:
ImmAdam - 557% 👑
annabellehopex - 423% 🥈
jmulholland14 - 172% 🥉
YoinkerSploinker - 70%
Dazza74 - 65%
ameliewamelie - 22%
Now that is a leaderboard you DON'T want to be at the top of! What's more impressive is YoinkerSploinker only doing 70% damage, across the 47,044 miles logged, that's an average damage per mile of 0.0014%! That might as well just be wear and tear! Way to save the company money on expensive repair bills.
The Money:
On the topic of money, let's talk Trucky Coins (T¢).
The company returned a gross profit of 2,651,536 T¢, with taxes @ 15% coming to 410,047 T¢, vehicle rental costs came to 434,317 T¢, fuel expenses came to 63,534 T¢, and vehicle damage came to 539,855 T¢, leaving a total job revenue of 1,203,783 T¢
On top of that, salary deductions totalled 547,222 T¢, and garage upgrades & purchase costs totalled 480,000 T¢, which means AJV Transport made a net profit of 176,561 T¢ across May. Compared to the 2.6M T¢ in revenue, that number looks pretty small. However, a large amount of garage costs in May were related to initial setup, so those costs won't reappear in the future. The costs will probably be replaced with truck purchases, so I will expect a similar expendiure in the future, which we will have to adapt to.
Overall, I'm satisfied with the current economic outlook. However, there is major work to be done to reduce damage costs and achieve higher profitability. Drivers, please be cautious while out on the roads, study the Trucky global markets, and try to take high-paying jobs where possible.
In order to not name and shame the people who have contributed the least, the top 3 drivers with the highest revenue are:
YoinkerSploiner - 586,511 T¢ 👑
jmulholland14 - 523,234 T¢ 🥈
ImmAdam - 95,483 T¢ 🥉
Summary
A record-breaking month for AJV, surpassing expectations in total mileage and total deliveries. While a very positive month for total revenue, the figures show there is a significant amount of improvement required in order to reduce damaged vehicles and goods, which would positively benefit the balance sheet. Overall, a very strong first month on Trucky, thank you everyone for their hard work and dedication, and hopefully there will be many more record-breaking months to come!
